The Coffs Harbour Greens started 2024 with a bang. We hosted the Mid North Coast regional forum for the New South Wales Greens with representatives from Taree, Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Nambucca, Bellingen, Coffs Harbour, Grafton and Yamba regions. 

The day was enhanced with participation from NSW State Greens MLC Sue Higginson and Federal Greens Senator David Shoebridge. 

The cost of living, climate change and housing were three key issues raised at the forum. 

The event kick-started our party’s focus for the local government elections in September to re-elect Councillors in Armidale, Bellingen, Clarence, Coffs Harbour, Kempsey, Mid-Coast, and Port Macquarie-Hastings Councils, as well as electing new councilors in Tamworth and Nambucca.

What a fantastic day. We are encouraged and excited about the hope Coffs Harbour and surrounding Greens can offer our community in difficult times.
